As a business we use data we obtain from you and data we collect about you to perform a number of activities. Under data protection legislation we are only permitted to use your personal information when we have a legal basis that permits us to do so. to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;

We will do this to help us ascertain if the product you have applied for is suitable for you. If we consider the product is unsuitable for you we will inform you after you have submitted your application. If we consider you are potentially suitable for the product, this does not mean you will be accepted for a loan by one of the lenders we work with;
We may also send your details to an identity verification service provider in order to ensure the details entered are legitimate and are not being used to make a fraudulent application;
We may submit your details to the lenders we work with in order that they can conduct affordability assessments and credit worthiness assessments in keeping with regulatory guidelines. When assessing loan applications, most lenders will undertake, amongst other things, the following:
identity verification,
credit checks,
fraud prevention, and
debt collection where necessary.

The lender may legitimately process your data:
To use information you provide on your application form to enable applicant matching and de-duplication
To enable assessment of lending risks by considering all products you may have with that lender already and also taking into consideration your payment history with any products you previously held with that lender for assessing your income and expenditure, and periodically updating this information to enable them to make responsible lending decisions.
To assist with ongoing crime detection, prevention and prosecution
The lender will not use your data, unless you have explicitly consented, for:
direct marketing,
to contact you in any way or to sell your data.
Sharing your data externally will only be done with your permission or if the lender is legally obliged to do so. Lenders may keep your details and use them for these purposes for up to 12 months.

COOKIES
A cookie is a small electronic file that distinguishes you from other users of our mobile apps and website. A cookie will help us to identify user activity on our sites and enable us to use this information to improve the client experience and the information and the way it is presented to the you.
We may use both ‘transient’ cookies that expire once you log off from your online session, and ‘persistent’ cookies which remain on your computer and help us identify you when you return to our site after a previous visit. StopGo Networks will search their panel of credit providers for an appropriate credit provider who subject to approval, will provide you with a more suitable product.  This will be subject to your marketing consent preferences.

For product analysis and the determining of client trends. This may be done both internally and with external partners. In the case of statistical analysis any data provided to third parties will be done on an anonymous basis.

If required to do so via any legal authority or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect to comply with judicial proceedings and or to protect our rights.

In the case our business is acquired in whole or part by a third party. At which point, the personal data will form part of the transferred assets.

With trusted third party service providers to enable them to perform tasks on behalf of Pete’s Loan Machine. Any provider used must agree to use personal data only for the purposed that they have been engaged by us and to the standard defined in this Privacy Policy
Sharing of information may be necessary with the Regulators to fulfil our legal obligations as a regulated profession, for example with the Financial Conduct Authority. Sharing of information to verify your identity and comply with Anti Money Laundering legislation, and otherwise co-operate with law enforcement, legal proceedings or regulatory authorities.

Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Privacy Notice.

Your data will be treated confidentially and these companies are required to ensure appropriate security measures are in place and maintain the confidentiality of your personal data, and to use your personal data only in the course of providing such services and in accordance with Hymarc Ltd instructions.

On receipt of the such communication, we will endeavour to update your profile with this request within 10 business days.
